04/22/2009 - Liverpool, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has revealed he would be interested in making a return to the club in a coaching role.
Dalglish, who managed the Reds in the 1980's and early 90's and is regarded as one of the club's greatest ever players, was linked with a youth development role in weekend reports.
The 58-year-old claims he knows nothing of those stories but has admitted he would be open to a return to Anfield as part of Rafael Benitez's backroom staff.
"I was as far removed from the weekend speculation about me returning to a role at Liverpool Football Club as it was possible to be, relaxing with the family at Loch Lomond in Scotland.
"That's not to say that the Sunday paper stories and TV debate escaped me," Dalglish told LFC Magazine.
"All I can say at the moment is what I've said many times in this column - if I can help Liverpool Football Club in any way, shape or form then I'm in. That's not a new revelation."

Kurt Warner to start, Matt Leinart to watch
Despite the debate that's swirling , Kurt Warner will remain the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, coach Dennis Green said today. The Arizona Cardinals are the +7 point underdog at online sportsbook MySportsbook.com for this Sunday's game.
Green's comment came in a statement released by the team following an ESPN report that Green decided that rookie Matt Leinart would replace Warner as starter for Sunday's game at Atlanta.
"Generally talking about the starting lineup is not something we do," Green told the AP. "However, given the speculation that was out there we want to make it clear. We're disappointed after last week, but we still expect to be a playoff football team and we fully expect Kurt Warner to be the quarterback that leads us. That has not changed."
